Charlotte Holley (married name Bidey) was born on 23 May 1867 in Newstead, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Mary Ann (Barrett) Holley and George Holley.^[1]

She married William James Bidey on 2 November 1885 in East Windsor, Victoria.^[2] Their children were:^{[citation needed]}

• Amelia Emma Mary Bidey (1888–1970)
• Ruby Ellen Bidey (1892–1974)
• Alma Annie Bidey (1896–1896)
