Biography

Emma V. Holley was born in 1882. She was the daughter of William R. Holley and Jane Holley, formerly Gambill.^[1]

In the 1900 Federal Census, she was 18 and living in Smith Township, Greene, Indiana with her widowed mother and three sisters: Nancy J (26), Margaret E (24) and Mary E (15).^[2]

According to her death certificate, she was born on 14 Feb 1884 in Greene Co., Indiana. She died, a widow, on 19 Jul 1955 in Linton, Greene, Indiana. She was buried on 21 Jul 1955 in the Fairview Cemetery, Linton, Indiana. ^[1] Death Certificate
