James Milton Holley was born in 1774 in Chesterfield County, South Carolina. He was the son of James Holley and Mary Ward.
He died, at the age of 78, on September 22, 1852 in Lowndesboro, Alabama. He is buried at the Oakview Cemetery, Lowndesboro, Lowndes County, Alabama.[1]
