George Holliday is a part of US Black heritage.

George Robert Holliday was born on 10 May 1898 in Wytheville, Wythe County, Virginia, son of Geo. Burke Holliday.[1]

George died on 1 December 1921 in Portland.

HOLLIDAY - In this city, Dec. 1, George R. Holliday, aged 40 years, late of 186 Halsey street, son of Mrs. Alice E. Holliday, brother of William H., Walter C. and Tate J. Holliday. The remains are at Finley's mortuary, Montgomery at Fifth. Notice of funeral hereafter."[2]

He was buried in Lincoln Memorial Park in Portland.[3]
