Biography
Elizabeth Holliday was born in about 1803 at Bampton in Oxfordshire. She was baptised at Bampton parish church on 1 June 1803, as the daughter of Richard and Elizabeth Holliday. [1] [2] [3]
Thomas Pettyfer and Elizabeth Holliday, both of the parish of St Michael, were married at the parish church of St Michael in Oxford on 29 December 1824. The witnesses were called Richard Holliday and Sarah Thorley. [2]
In 1851 Elizabeth Pettyfer was living in Church Street in the St Ebbes area of Oxford with her husband Thomas and their children. Her age was given as 48, implying a birth date in 1802 or 1803. Her birthplace was given as Bampton, Oxfordshire. [3]
