In 1851 Susan Bray (age 26) lived at Main Road in Walkern with her husband William (25, Master Wheeler & Smith) and daughter Elizabeth (2).[4]
In 1861 Susan Bray (age 36) lived in Walkern with her husband William (35, Wheelwright & Smith Employing 1 Man) and three children: Elizabeth A (12), William (7), and Sarah Emma (0).[5]
In 1871 Susan Bray (age 46) lived at Trevior Road in Hitchin, Hertfordshire with her husband William (45, Baptist Minister Various Places) and two daughters: Elizabeth (22, Teacher at Home) and Emma (10, Scholar).[6][7]
In 1881 Susan Bray (age 56) lived at Trevor Rd in Hitchin with her husband William (55, Retired Grocer) and daughter Emma (20).[8]
In 1891 Susan Bray (age 66) lived at Loates Lane in Watford, Hertfordshire with her granddaughter Mabel Wilsom (13).[9] Susan's husband William (65, Baptist Minister) was a visitor at Church Path in Croydon, Surrey in the household of Edward Leigh.
Susan's husband passed away in 1898.
In 1901 Susan Bray (age 76, Living On Own Means) lived at Brereton Road in Bedford, Bedfordshire with her granddaughter Mabel E Milsom (22).[10]
Susan Bray passed away on 1 Mar 1911, aged 86 years. Her death was registered in Hitchin in the first quarter of the year.[11]
"BRAY Susan of 34 Walsworth-road Hitchin Hertfordshire widow died 1 March 1911 Administration London 20 September [1912] to William James Holliday Bray cycle agent. Effects £564 5s. 5d."[12]
