Harry was a farmer. When the war broke out he enlisted being dishonest about his age in order to get in. He was on a farmers tour of Europe when war broke out and returned home to enlist. Shortly after the war while on his way from Caversham to Hilton to pay staff he began feeling very ill and stopped at the Hilton Police station. Shortly after arriving he suffered a heart attach and died. He left a wife and four young children.
