Biography

The daughter of William Hollis and Sophronia (Jordan) Hollis, Nancy was born in Grainger County in 1866.[1] In 1880, her family farmed in Wayne County, Tennessee.[2][3] She married John Bozine Griffin (1872-1953), the son of Wade G. Griffin and Mary Frances Adams, marrying in Searcy County, Arkansas on March 3, 1910.[4] They made their home in Calf Creek, Arkansas, farming on their own account.[5][6]

Nancy Griffin passed away in Calf Creek, Arkansas at the age of 53, diagnosed with dropsy,[7] and is buried at Snowball Cemetery in Snowball, Arkansas.[8]
