DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with William by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with William:
oh - just realized that Elizabeth wasn't listed as one of his known children on his findagrave memorial (but I didn't see any sources listed there either).

the pension application was made in 1832 & William said he was about 64 years old & that his father died 27 August 1832 - that's the same date of death shown in the memorial for John Hollis that is linked to the memorial you have as a source for this William Hollis.
Hollis-556 and Hollis-406 appear to represent the same person because: David Hollis and Hudson Hollis are listed in both profiles, also the missing names of the parents will fill in nicely.
