Biography
"went to the West Indies at about the age of 18, where he spent a few years; after his return, he married Abigail Savage of Middletown, Conn. They lived many years at Glastonbury, but afterward removed to Granville, N.Y., where he died July 8, 1856, and she at the age of 78. He was a house-finisher and ship-carpenter in Glastonbury, and a farmer at N. Granville." - Hollister Family of America
