Biography
"He died in Berlin, and administration on his estate was granted August 7, 1809, to his widow Caroline, (called Caroline Barnes in 1817). His daughter Ann, a minor, and sons, Soloman and William, both probably over 2 1 years of age. The wife of Abel Hollister was Caroline Hart, born Oct. 26, 1762; after his death she married, 2d, Barnes, and 3d, Porter. She died Oct. 26, 1841, aged 79 years."
