Biography

Richard was the eldest son of Major John Hollond and his wife Sophia Fowke. He was baptised on 25 Jul 1743 at Madrasspatam, Madras, India. He was unmarried. In 1763 he was killed in a skirmish with the natives and was buried at Calcutta, Bengal, India.
