Benjamin Terry married, as his second wife, secondly, Margaret Holloway, before 30 November 1723. She was the daughter of Nathaniel and Deliverance (Bobet) Holloway.[2] On 16 February 1729/30 Deliverance Holloway of Middleboro, widow of Nathaniel, and Benjamin Terry of Freetown and his wife Margaret, one of the children of the deceased Nathaniel, sold land belonging to the deceased.[3]
Benjamin Terry died between 28 June 1768 (date of will) and 29 March 1773 (date of probate) at Freetown.[4] His wife Margaret was still living when he wrote his will on 28 June 1768. He made bequests to his wife Margaret, eldest son Robert (mention includes a reference to what he has received from his grandfather "Spurs" estate), second son Benjamin, third son John, fourth son George, fifth son William, sixth son Solomon (also appointed executor) and daughters, eldest Mary Warren, second Johannah Gibbs, third Lydia Winslow, fourth daughter Phebe Daggett, fifth Margaret Lewing, sixth Meriam Tisdale, seventh Sarah Winslow and eight daughter Dinah Terry unmarried. The will was proved 29 Mar 1773.[5][4]
