Biography
Sophia was born 13 May 1782 in Winchester, New Hampshire, the daughter of Stetson Holmes and Anna Shurtleff. [1] She married Amos Elijah Warren 2 January 1806 in Hartland, Vermont. [2] The couple lived in Woodstock, Vermont where Amos ran a successful tanning business. They had 8 children, all born in Woodstock. [2]Sophia passed away in Woodstock 28 June 1825. [3] and is buried in River Street Cemetery. [4]
