Abraham was born on 20 July 1814 & baptised Abraham Holmes, 27 November 1814, Birstall St. Peter, Yorkshire the son of Robert Holmes & Amelia. Date of birth included in entry. [1]
The marriage of Abraham Holmes & Judith Keighley was conducted on 19 July 1838 Tong, St. James, Yorkshire. [2]
With wife Judith & children in 1851 living in Albion Street, Hunslet, Yorkshire. He worked as a tallow chandler. [3]
A tallow chandler in 1881, with wife & children living in Greenside, Mirfield, Yorkshire. [4]
