Biography

John Holmes married Mary Ann Morgan on 13 Nov 1868 at Newmills in the parish of Tullanisken, County Tyrone, Ireland. Both were of full age (21 or more) and living in Farlough, and neither had been married before; John was a loft man. Their fathers were named as Thomas Holmes (stone cutter) and William Morgan (shoe maker). The witnesses were Robert Morgan and William James Hart. [1]

In 1901, they were living at house 26 in Farlaugh (Tullyniskane, Tyrone). [2]
