Biography
John Hudson was the son of John and Elizabeth Hudson of Adam's Cove who was born about 1805. John's father died when he was young and his mother remarried Philip Holmes who raised young John. Philip Holmes left John his property described in 1805 as 60 yds. from S. to N. 118 yds. from H.W.M. to the W. 1 Garden. 1 Meadow and another plot 25 yds. from N. to S. 182 yds. from H.W.M. to the W. along the Brook.
