Biography
Lavina married David Chapman in 1820 and had a daughter Evaline with him. Lavina and David seem to have split up as Lavina resumed the use of her maiden name and her daughter also used the name Evaline Holt (Evaline C. Holt). It is possible that the marriage of Lavina and David fell through and Evaline was born out-of-wedlock.
Lavina's gravestone includes her date of birth which helps confirm her identity.
