Biography

Burt was born in 1896. He is the son of Robert Holton and Emma Bartlett. In 1900, the family was living in Avondale, Jefferson, Alabama.[1]

By 1910, his mother had remarried. Burt was living with his stepfather, Lafayett W Lambeth, mother, brothers, Cyrus and King, along with numerous boarders, in Birmingham Ward 10, Jefferson, Alabama.[2] The household included:

In 1918, Burt registered for the WWI draft in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida. He gave his DOB as 17 Aug 1896.He was working for the Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company at the time. His nearest relative was listed as Mrs. G. W. Kiernan.[3]

Burt married Laura Nora Capps, according to his Find A Grave: Memorial #18528248.

Burt passed away in 1965.[4][5] Burial was in the Riverside Memorial Park, Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida.[6]
