Hunter's 2011 article in The Genealogist, citing a 1937 bulletin by Lillian Redstone, says William Holton, PGM immigrant [Holton-20], was likely the great grandson of a Thomas Houlton.

Most likely the 1563 DOD was a transcribing error, since he married in 1563.

He can't die in 1563 if son was born in 1570
