Biography

Harold Joseph Hommel was born 11 Oct 1925 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga, Ohio, United States to John M Hommel & Lila B Osborn. ^[1] He grew up in Cleveland, Ohio,^[2] By 1935, his family moved into the 6th Ward of Cleveland Ohio and where still residing there during the 1940 Census.^[3]

In 1944, Harold left the city of New York on the the Isaac Shelby for military service.^[4] In 1946, He left aboard the Ameican Skipper. ^[5] In 1948 he once again sailed out of New York City aboard the Paducah Victory. ^[6]

In 1950 Harold & Virginia lived in Plymouth, Plymouth Township, Ashtabula, Ohio, United States.^[7]

He lived in Du Bois, Clearfield, Pennsylvania, United States 15801-9001 with his wife Scotty. This is the residence he was living at when he passed away at home on 25 Jun 2003 ^[8]
