DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Hans by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Hans:
Honaker-315 and Honaker-106 appear to represent the same person because: the other profile in question is a person that died as a child, clearly not the same person
Honaker-315 and Honaker-106 appear to represent the same person because: they have similar birth data; a common spouse; the same death data; links to the same Findagrave profile (merged-away profile that links to remaining profile). They have minor discrepancies (birth and marriage). They have no major conflicts.
edit: Pending merge has been moved to Unmerged Match, pending research to determine if Honegger-12 is another duplicate. If so, Honegger-12 would probably have the correct birth surname (LNAB).
Please DO NOT merge any of these profiles until research to find birth records has been done.
Honaker-228 and Honaker-106 appear to represent the same person because: no sources on -228, looks like it was intended to be the same person based on wife's name
Additional research is required to determine if one Hans is a namesake of another Hans.
Birth data (birth surname, birth date and location) requires additional research, also.
