Charley died on 25 October 2014 in Chanute, Kansas aged 76. He is buried in Galatia Cemeter in Baxter County, Arkansas.[1]
Charley Honeycutt, age 76, passed away October 25, 2014 at his home in Chanute. He was born November 9, 1937 in Calico Rock, Arkansas the son of Floyd and Fern (Havner) Honeycutt. Charley’s father passed away before Charley was born and his mother passed away a year later, so Charley was raised by his grandparents Adolph and Lucille Havner.
Charley is survived by his daughter; Carla Ditterline and companion Albert Boan of Altoona, KS, son; Ron Honeycutt and companion Charlotte Ellison of Chanute, KS, six grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Floyd and Fern, grandparents; Adolph and Lucille, son; Randall Honeycutt, and sister; Floyie Goodman.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 29, 2014, 6-8 p.m. at Countryside Funeral Home Gibson Chapel. Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Galatia Cemetery in North Fork, Arkansas.
Family suggests memorials to Chanute Cancer Center and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
