Biography

James Hood son of John Hood and his wife, Sarah Foster was born in Leeds on 21 June 1869 [1] and was baptised at St Luke aged two on 7 September 1871. [2][3] His father was from Scotland.

He died in Stawell, Victoria, Australia on the 25 Feb 1900. [4]

IN MEMORIAM. HOOD.—In loving memory of JOHN HOOD, who died December 9th, 1898, aged 72 years. Also of WILLIAM HOOD, son of the above, who died December 17th, 1898, aged 34 years. Also of the Rev. JAMES HOOD, youngest son of the above John Hood, who died at Stawell, Australia, February 25th, 1900, aged 30 years. "Forever with the Lord."
