Content Hood was born 3 Sep 1730 at Lynn, Massachusetts. She was the first child of Benjamin Hood and Elizabeth Bassett.
She married 26 Sep 1752 Walter Phillips [b. 18 Nov 1726, son of Mary (Brown) & Jonathan Phillips; d. 18 Mar 1800]. They had 7 children:
