Anthony Hood was born in 1836 in Stranton, Durham, the son of Christopher Hood and Margaret (nee Hall) Hood
In 1880 Anthony married Elizabeth Ann Grinnall in Winchcombe RD, Gloucestershire[1]
Anthony Hood of "The Cottage", Hillside, Marlow, Buckinghamshire died on 24 November 1899 at The Great Northern Hospital, Holloway Road, Islington, Middlesex. Probate, administered in London on 12 February 1900 cited his widow Elizabeth Hood[2][3]
