Hooglant-3 and Hoogalendt-1 are not ready to be merged because: On the face of things, these two records technically have no matching data in common. In part because they both lack bio information, we only have the ancestral line for one record and the descendants for the other, and both names are spelling variants of each other. Even with a definitive match, the consensus for the early settlers has been to set them as unmerged matches until a birth certificate or other document is found that would confirm their proper family name at birth among the many variants (Hooglant, Hoagland, Hoaglandt, et al¬ówith apparently Hoogalendt as another unique variant)

Hooglant-3 and Hoogalendt-1 appear to represent the same person because: Hello. I am descended from this line and believe these are the same person. A merge would help clarify. I hope you will agree and help the merge happen. Thank you very much. Also, if you could add me to the trusted list, I would be happy to be part of this profile. Best, Jody Katopothis
