William, son of William and Hannah (Jones) Hooker of Berlin, Conn. born 10 March 1788 at Berlin, Conn.; married 9 January 1814 Amelia Stanley, daughter of Seth and Ann (Hooker) Stanley of Berlin, Conn., born 6 November 1790 at Berlin.[1]
Mr. Hooker settled as a physician at South Dover, N.Y., where he became a prominent citizen. He represented the town in the State Legislature. He died at Dover Furnace, N.Y., 31 March 1852. She died at Dover Furnace, N. Y., 21 April 1885. [2]
They were the parents of two children: William and Ann.[3]
