Biography
Harry Mix Hooker was born in New York, USA. He graduated from Rochester University in 1894. His age at first marriage was 40, so he had been married previously to his marriage to Lydia Kirkpatrick Rogers. He was elected vice-president and sales manager of Hooker Electro-chemical Company in 1922 and was located in New York City. In 1930, he was living in a $30,000 house in Rye, Westchester, New York, USA with his wife Lydia. He was at the Niagara Falls plant by 1939. He became president of the company. The Phillips Bulletin, Phillips Academy, Andover, 1939 reported that he was at the Niagara Falls plant of Hooker Chemicals and lived at Lewiston.
