Biography
Edward, son of Isaac and Hannah [nee Roberts] Hooley, was born in Trowell in 1747. When he married Sarah Wooley at Kirk Hallam, in 1771 he is described as Edward Hooley of Sawley, labourer" and it should also be noted that, according to Kerry, Edward Hooley's wife was called "mARY".
