Birth

Francis Hooley son of Joshua and Hannah [nee Unknown] Hooley was born at Bugsworth (now Buxworth), Derbyshire in 1841^[1]

He began working life as a cotton weaver, but became a coal miner, living at Beard Offerset in 1881 with his wife Hannah [Unknown] whom he had married, at Hayfield, in 1863.
