I like the collaborative nature of Wikitree. Its good fun and there are great people here! Every profile I own I create manually as I have found using GEDCOMs created errors, messy profiles and duplicates.
My number one brickwall to bust through is the parentage of my ancestor William Green. If you happen to be interested in early Australian convict and settler families by the surname DILLON and its variants, you have come to the right place!! :-)
If you are looking at this profile because you are interested in the Pogson, Freeman and Milward families of St Kitts & Nevis, please get in touch. I have done a lot of research about them. My holy grail is to find a DNA connection to these families - at the moment I am reliant on genealogical records.
I am descended from families who lived in the area of Watten, Bower and Lyth in Caithness. Finally, I am doing a one name study of the surname HOOLIHAN and SPELLACY in an effort to find out more about my Irish ancestors.
Leigh Murrin's DNA has been tested for genealogical purposes. It may be possible to confirm family relationships by comparing test results with Leigh or other
carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA.

Family Tree DNA mtDNA Test HVR1 and HVR2, haplogroup H7f, FTDNA kit #315864
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share DNA with Leigh:
Leigh, we are starting a French Roots project and I'm looking at Categorization. We need help and hardly know where to start. Would you have any advice for us: what should we add in priority, what do we have to fix, and so on. And I haven't got a clue how to manage the system with the France and France (en) category. My gut feeling would be to use French with perhaps a short French/English explanation in the category.
So there we are! I hope you can bear with us! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Leigh, I added you as manager. It did require your email address (that wikiTree recognizes) which your email provided.. Hope you enjoy leading Black Sheep project. Let me know if you need anything else.
Hello, I was so happy to see a third child for Eliphaz Shelton (Hudson) appear in my feed this morning. I'm 99.9999% sure that my great-great grandfather, Robert Shelton, is the son of Claiborne (aka Clabourn) Shelton, but I haven't posted the connection because I've not yet found the hard evidence (though I have found some tantalizingly suggestive tidbits and maddening hints of lost documents)... I'm happy to "meet" another (possible) distant relative! :)
Hi Leigh, do you by any chance have Hendy 's in your family tree? I notice you were working on some bios and had to ask. I've never done a name study and have no idea where to start but it would be fun to do one if you're interested. I gather there was a Hendy that went down on the Titanic. His widow and children lived in Southampton. Would be fun to find out if we're related...
