Ada Hooper Hendricks, 83, widow of Coy Hendricks, died Thursday, March 9, 2006, at Seneca Health and Rehab. She was a native of Jackson County, NC and the daughter of the late Orie and Florence Bryson Hooper.
She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was a loving wife and mother who has now joined her beloved husband.
She is survived by two sons, Leroy Hendricks and wife, Loretta, of Central, and Wilburn Hendricks and wife, Wanda, of Central; one brother, Lewis Hooper of Gastonia, NC; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Grace Hendricks.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church's cemetery. The body is at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home where the family will receive friends on Saturday from 6-8 p.m. and will be placed in the church on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
The family is at the home of a son, Wilburn Hendricks, 255 Windy Hill Road, Central, SC 29630.
