  • When Jesse W Hooper Sr. was born in 1760 in Davidson, Tennessee, his father, Churchwell, was 40 and his mother, Mary, was 38. He married Elizabeth Williams in 1803 in St Helena, Louisiana. They had six children in 13 years. He died on October 30, 1824, in St Helena, Louisiana, at the age of 64.
