Biography

When Churchwell Hooper was born in 1720 in Wilkes, North Carolina, his father, Thomas, was 21 and his mother Ann Hooper Bailey, was 18. He died on November 17, 1807, in Davidson, Tennessee, having lived a long life of 87 years. He married Mary Elizabeth Polly Jordan on February 1, 1829, in Davidson, Tennessee. They had one child during their marriage.
