Jamy Hooper is a part of US Black heritage.

Jamy was born about 1780, see research notes.

In the will of Obediah Hooper Sr., dated July 16, 1800, he bequeathed "one negro girl named Jamy, the Judge" to his son Obediah Hooper Jr.. Jamy's son Bob was bequeathed to Obediah Hooper Sr.'s son Thomas Hooper.[1]
