Margaret Hoops was born in Pennsylvania in 1754. She was the daughter of Adam Hoops and Elizabeth Finney. In 1772, she married Thomas Hoops, of Albemarle, Virginia, in Philadelphia. They lived and raised their family in Albemarle. Margaret passed away in 1811.
A merge was made on 12/19/23 for the profiles Hoopes-238 and Hoops-129. Margaret Hoops was the wife of Thomas Walker and the mother of Jane Walker and a number of other children that will need to be added to her profile. The Family History entry below shows that Margaret's parents were Adam Hoops and Elizabeth Finney, not Thomas Hoopes and Sarah Bane, who may have also had a daughter named Margaret. Once Margaret Hoops was married, she lived and died in Albemarle, Virginia.
