Biography
Mary was born on 9 February 1866, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Azariah W Hoopes and Clara M Ford. [1]
She married Elmer Beesley Stretch, in 1888, probably in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. [2]
On 22 November 1932, she died, at 5126 Pulaski Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, of carbolic acid poisoning, taken in mistake for medicine for injuries to spine accidentally received in a fall at home two years prior. On 26 November 1932, she was buried, in St James the Less Episcopal Churchyard, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. [3]
