Please note:
The burgerlijke stand before 1890 filmed by LDS for the Arrondissement Alkmaar are not always the originals, but have formal status as such. The originals kept at the rechtbank of the former Arondissement Hoorn were destroyed in a fire in Alkmaar, 20 february 1890. A second copy was by law retained by the gemeenten. Handwritten copies of these were made (by law of 15 april 1891) and were filmed. The ones involved have no original signatures, instead have 'wg' or 'was getekend'.
