Biography
When Elizabeth Hoover was born on September 22, 1821, in Westmoreland, Pennsylvania, her father, Johannes, was 25, and her mother, Frances, was 30. She had four sons and five daughters with William C McMillin between 1841 and 1861. She died on March 15, 1896, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, at the age of 74, and was buried in Brookfield, Iowa.
