Biography

Jacob was born in 1814. He was the son of Felix Hoover and Mary Stover.

He married Melinda Cave in 1844. [1]

In 1850 they were living in Oregon with seven children: Thomas, John, Norris, Jackson, Jacob, Harriet and Letita. [2]

In 1860 he, his wife, and six children (Thomas, Wesley, Jackson, Jacob, Harriet and Latitia) were living in Oregon. [3]

In 1870 they were living in Oregon with three adult children: Jackson, Harriet and Latitia. [4]

In 1880 he was 66 and living with his wife and one adult son, Jackson Hoover, in Oregon. [5]

He passed away in 1886.

Buried in Old Scotch Church Cemetery, Hillsboro, Oregon. [6]
