Ina was born on 22 March 1884 in Steeves Mountain, Westmorland County, New Brunswick, Canada. She was the daughter of John James Edward Hope and Sarah Caroline (Kennedy) Lewis.[1]
When Ina was about 15 she married in about 1900 in Westmorland, New Brunswick, Canada.
