Notes: Andrew Hope resided in Perth when he married Isabella Anderson who lived in Drummond. They married on June 18th 1850. The marriage was witnessed by George Forteaud, and John Hall by John Lever Weslyan who was Methodist. ^[1]

Note: Those listed are John Hope (33) the toll gate keeper, William Hope (10), Peter Hope (8), Elizabeth Hope (5), and Andrew Hope (2) all born in Canada West. They are all listed as Free Church followers. John is listed as single, and Isabella is listed as married, this John can either be Andrew Hope using a middle name OR a brother of Andrew Hope. Lives next to the Bells, which Elizabeth would later marry.

Note: Appears with Andrew Hope (50) married to Isabella, and is listed as being born in Scotland. William Hope (20) tinsmith, Peter Hope (17), Elisabeth Hope (15), Andrew Hope (12), and Margaret Ellis (5). They are listed as following the Presbyterian Church, and as being born in Scotland/being Scottish. One theory is that Andrew Hope is born in Scotland, and this is just a error by the enumerator.
