Biography
Lady Christian Hope was born and baptised in the parish of Abercorn, West Lothian on 21 March 1714. She was the daughter of Charles Hope and Henrietta Johnstone. [1][2]
Christian married Thomas Graham of Balgowan at Hopetoun House, West Lothian on 8 April 1743.[1] [3]
The couple had at least one child:
Christian died at Tynninghame, East Lothian on 31 May 1799.[1] Her will was confirmed in Edinburgh Commissary Court on 18 September 1799.[4]
