Solomon was born on 16 June 1776 in Truro, Barnstable, Massachutes.^[1] He was the son of Caleb Hopkins and Thankful (Paine) Hopkins.^[2][3]

Solomon was baptised on 28 July 1776 in Truro, Barnstable, Massachusetts.

Solomon maried Hannah Dyer on December 17, 1795 in Truro, Barnstable, Massachusetts.^[4]

Solomon died at the age of 80 on 22 December 1856 in Truro, Barnstable, Massachusetts.^[5] and was buried in the Old North Cemetery.^[1]
