Ruth Hopkins was probably born in Plymouth, Plymouth Colony, New England. She was born before 3 April 1651, when Governor Bradford indicated that she was dead; certainly before the settlement of the estate of her sister Elizabeth Hopkins on 5 Oct. 1659. She is thought to have been a sickly child, and died unmarried.
