Dorcas Hopkins born on 31 Dec., 1659 in Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut.[1], daughter of Stephen and Dorcas (Bronson) Hopkins [and granddaughter of John and Jane Hopkins, first settlers of Hartford, also of John Bronson of Farmington] married Deacon Johnathon Webster 11 May 1681 Hartford[2]
Stephan Hopkins, in his will dated Sep. 28, 1689, makes a bequest to Dorcas Hopkins his wife, and one to his daughter, Dorcas Webster, of '40 shillings, besides what I have already given her."[3]
Dorcas Webster received into the Second Church at Hartford 17 Mar 1695 Hartford, Hartford, Connecticut[4] and she died that year. Her widower, Jonathan Webster married 2nd Jan 2, 1696 to Mary Judd and Jonathan died 1735.
