Charles, born in 1880, was the son of Abner Inglehart Hopkins and Anne Marie Berrington.[1][2] In 1911 he lived with his widowed father and two siblings in Algoma East, Ontario.[3] In 1919 a Charles William Hopkins married Elizabeth Mitchell in Cannington, Ontario.[4]
