Biography

Dennis Hopkins, son of Richard Hopkins and Mary Resho, was born on 14 September 1728 in St. Peter's Parish, Talbot County, Maryland.[1][2]

Dennis Hopkins is listed on the North Carolina Early Census Index Tax List for 1779 in Randolph County.

Dennis Hopkins died about 1795.

Research Note

There is conflicting information for Dennis Hopkins, Jr.. Some family trees list Dennis' father as John Hopkins (1698-1770) and mother as Judith Reshune (1700). More research is needed.
