Biography
Benjamin James was born about 1750. He is the son of Benjamin Hopkins & Mary Skinner.
Father Benjamin died in 1768; according to his father's Will- Benjamin would receive land if son Joseph died without issue.
According to land records they resided at "Schoolhouse Marsh- Hopkins Point".
On September 8, 1785 brother Joseph wrote his Will. He gives a yearly allowance for his brother William for the rest of his life- leaving brother Benjamin James in charge.
Note- In father's Will he is called Benjamin but in his brother's Will he is called James (it is the same person- which I listed as Benjamin James Hopkins).
